private communications

These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete. 1John1:4

“No reasonable expectation of privacy”

This is what one “Big” Silicon Valley Tech company recently quipped, defending their right to scan private emails that use their services. Government agencies have admitted to their ability to crack encryption codes and “intrude upon communications”.

As we enter further into the brave new computer-enhanced world, there is no longer any “reasonable expectation of privacy protections”.

Your mail, email, phone calls, private blogs, files, photos, records, etc.  …… all are now potentially open and technically available for electronic or live perusing by  IT geeks and government powers that be.

Shall we then stop speaking? Shall we then quiet our witness? How about encouraging the other saints?

We can choose now to be intimidated; to put a lid on it and quiet down……. or we can choose now, to continue on as usual with both our public and our private spoken and written communications….paying no mind to whoever may be listening or reading……….. (as if nothing were different)……… with trust and joy. Let us choose to continue in our witness and choose to continue on encouraging one another.

Gay ‘marriage’ and abortion cliff notes

Guest post: Gay ‘marriage’ and abortion cliff notes (abortion bill, prop 8 etc)

by Jim at Fleebabylon

Conservative christendom, full of pride and hypocrisy, was emboldened by her political allies to fight in the flesh for key social issues. She and the world exchanged blows as they battled back and forth. Even with the strength of her evangelicals, catholics, and mormons joining hands together she couldn’t best the world. Now the world rejoices in its alleged victory, erroneously thinking it has defeated Christ and His kingdom, not realizing its triumph was merely over american jesus and his kingdom.

There is no hope in the world or in christendom. The only hope is to keep your eyes on the real Jesus who is seated at the right hand of God the Father and shun the ways of american jesus who is seated at the right hand of worldly political powers. The early followers of Jesus didn’t spend much time trying to legislate holiness in rome or else where. Instead they preached ‘Christ crucified’ with great spiritual authority and power and it pierced the hearts of the most depraved men. If this lost generation (world and christendom) is to escape hell-fire nothing else will do.

1 Corinthians 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Revival in Haiti: Fasting and Prayer

You will not see a report of this true work of God on the satanically controlled MSM, or announced by the Beast world government system, or praise given to God by the Babylonian religious establishment. BUT GOD is bringing His sheep into His fold as He brings them to repentance and faith! He is bringing His people through the purifying fires of affliction, and leading them to repentance that their faith may be found as pure gold for the love, devotion and worship of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. May we also be brought to fasting and prayer– and repentance.

Thanksgiving to God for His mercy in bringing His people to repentance and faith, for His glory and for their joy. Thank You Lord for the work of Your Spirit among the beautiful Haitian people. Praise to God.

The Safe Place

Yesterday I again found myself in a face to face encounter with the unseen forces. I had two long conversations with S., a homeless woman my age, who was pushing her packed shopping cart with her three pet rats. It turns out she is one of those who has, since a little girl, been the victim of the satanic torture, abuse, terror and mind control of the wicked earthly “powers that be” that the Lord speaks of in Ps. 2 and Ps.21:11.

She was filled with paranoia, fear and hate for those who have hurt her. As she gripped her mace can, she told me exactly how she got her bruises and burn marks. Her STD was affecting her whole body. Demons were speaking wicked lies to me; I was speaking Truth of God’s Word to her. This shut up the demons, but she was listening. God wanted me to just show her His love, and build trust. There was much more to these conversations than I can possibly articulate here.

She lamented that the evil men who have tortured her have gotten away with it. I assured her that they ultimately will not: that God will judge all sin, evil and wickedness. The demons in her told me that this is not true, but I again answered with Bible Truth of God’s righteous character, and again, this shut them up and she was listening. I could see this Truth gave her a bit of hope.

The Lord wanted me to tell her where the safe place is. “There is no safe place!”, she insisted. I assured her there was a spiritual safe place: the large loving arms to hide under, the big cupped hands to hide in, the safe shelter to run to, the hiding place that is the Lord Jesus.

Got Hope?

Lately I’ve been starting conversations with people by asking what gives them hope. Today I was talking with an older gentleman (in his early 70’s) at a bus stop, and I asked him what he is putting his hope in. He immediately told me he is putting his hope in Barack Obama. Then he pulled out a newspaper and pointed to the front page headline which said something about welcoming (or announcing) the New World Order. He pointed to it exclaiming, “That is what I’m putting my hope in!”

The god of this world is offering humanity a false and empty hope. As the evil and darkness increases, the Lord Jesus Christ shines bright! Think of the opportunity the Lord has given us at this time, to share the true hope of the Gospel to the lost around us. Ask people if they have hope. Ask them what their hope is. Then tell them Who the true Hope is, and why.

Lord Jesus Christ…our hope. 1Tim1:1

Hope in God; for I shall again praise Him, my salvation and my God. Ps.42:11

Verses of Encouragement:Luke

versesAnd He said to her, “Your sins have been forgiven.” Luke7:48.

“Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him. Luke8:39.

“And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.” Luke12:4.

“And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not become anxious about how or what you should speak in your defense, or what you should say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” Luke12:11-12.

And He said to His disciples, “For this reason I say to you, do not be anxious for your life; as to what you shall eat; nor for your body, as to what you shall put on.” Luke12:22.

“Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.” Luke12:32.

“Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps alight.” Luke12:35.

“Blessed are those slaves whom the master shall find on the alert when he comes: truly I say to you, that he will gird himself to serve, and have them recline at table, and will come up and wait on them. Whether he comes in the second watch, or even in the third, and finds them so, blessed are those slaves.” Luke12:37-38.

“But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, delivering you to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for My name’s sake. It will lead to an opportunity for your testimony. So make up your minds not to prepare beforehand to defend yourselves; for I will give you utterance and wisdom which none of your opponents will be able to resist or refute. But you will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death, and you will be hated by all on account of My name. Yet not a hair of your head will perish. By your endurance you will gain your lives (souls)”. Luke21:12-19.

“Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded (permission) to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.” Luke22:31-32.

“But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.” And they all said, “Are you the Son of God, then?” And He said to them, “Yes, I am.” Luke22:69-70.

And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come into your kingdom!” And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” Luke23:42-43.

Then He opened their minds to understand the scriptures, and He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and rise from the dead the third day; and that repentance for forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And behold, I am sending forth the the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” Luke24:45-49.

Christ our King

When Obama walked out to greet his people on Tuesday night, it just looked different from any acceptance speech I had seen before. It was not a “yea, we won” scene, or a “let’s party!” scene. It was romantic and emotional, with an ethereal glow. It looked like Camelot. No, it looked like the climactic scene in Return of the King, where Aragorn comes into his kingdom, crowned and received with overwhelming joy by adoring subjects. We all know what that was supposed to symbolize.

As I watched this election night scene: hushed reverence, tear streaked faces, starry eyes and hands raised up, I could not help but notice the comparison and contrast. Yes, it looked like a picture and a shadow of what will be. But this near worshipful scene involving a man was nothing compared to what it will be like when we are gathered and brought before our King, Jesus, to celebrate His victory and Kingdom.

O LORD of hosts, my King and my God! Ps.84:3.

Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God…Rev.19:1.

Verses of Encouragement:Malachi

verses1“And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming,”, says the LORD of hosts. Mal.3:1.

Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who esteem His name. “And they will be Mine,”, says the LORD of hosts, “on the day that I prepare My own posession, and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.” So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him. Mal.3:16-18.

“For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze,” says the LORD of hosts, “so that it will leave them neither root or branch.” But for you who fear My name the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall.” Mal.4:1-2.

Verses of Encouragement:Zechariah

verses2Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives….Then the LORD, my God, will come, and all the holy ones with Him! Zech.14:3,4,5.

And the LORD will be king over all the earth; in that day the LORD will be the only one, and His name, the only one. Zech.14:9.

In that day there will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, “HOLY TO THE LORD.” Zech.14:20.
