Government to Enlist Churches via “Partnership”

What does the Government (and Rick Warren and the UN) have planned for the Institutional Church? Social and economic Communitarianism through Church-State partnerships. According to the research I have previously done on “Faith Based Initiatives”, participating churches are NOT allowed to preach Jesus or in any way evangelize, when “in partnership” with the Government and receiving government money for carrying out government programs and goals.

We, the called out ones, are married to Christ, not to the antichrist Beast Government which has an agenda that is of the world system and of the kingdom of darkness. We are part of the Kingdom NOT of this world. We heed the will of the Lord Jesus Christ, not the earthly “powers that be” that are against Christ and His Gospel. We cannot have two Masters; Jesus and the Government. We must choose Whom we will serve. God or mammon. Christ or Belial.

Witnessing in Church (Buildings)

DSC01700RSeveral years ago I was at church (not my current assembly) and I began to take note of the many new people. I had long since given up on trying to meet and really know all the new people, since this church was growing so fast. But I was concerned for the spiritual condition of the newcomers. Speaking to each one separately, I soon discovered an amazing set of similarities among these new regular attenders. They all had been coming for several months; some for a year, and none of them could articulate to me at all anything that would indicate that they were actually in Christ. And none of them had any idea what the Gospel was. The Lord gave blessed opportunity to share the Gospel with these folks- inside “the four walls”.

I asked them why they were coming to this church, and they all said ‘because it makes me happy’ ,or ‘it makes me feel good’, or ‘it gives me some inspiration and helps me get though the week’. Another answer had to do with having “a community”.

Yes it’s true: these ‘seekers’ were coming to church and they never heard the Gospel in the service. This church was working hard to become a successful church through the addition of numbers of people, via Willowcreek’s ‘Vision 2010’ program of church growth. “Outreach” services addressed people’s felt needs and issues of Psychology and Sociology, but nothing of the Gospel was mentioned. I remember the announcement man saying (with a laugh) from the pulpit something about how “we” (the church) did not want to be controversial or make people uncomfortable. As far as I could tell, the plan was to bring in as many people as possible, mix together the Christians and the seekers (unbelievers), “plug them in” and hopefully they would eventually become Christians. Let me repeat: these church attenders I spoke to had no idea what the Gospel was.DSC01701R

We attended a Christmas Eve service at a mega church in another state. After more than two hours of jovial entertainment and glorification of men, there was still not one word of Gospel Truth spoken to the two thousand people gathered. (And there was no worship.)

About a year ago I went to a memorial service for a little boy who died in an accident. The church building was packed with hundreds of people from all over the community. There was not one word of Hope or Redemption through Jesus Christ in the whole service. The liberal minister’s word of consolation to the grieving was to find comfort from the community. These hundreds of people never heard the Gospel in that place at all.

At our Biblical church where Jesus is central and the Gospel is heard from the pulpit, there are visitors and relatives who occasionally are in attendance. This give us opportunity to also share the Gospel with them also, as the Lord leads, since this is not just the job of the pastor, but all believers are called by the Lord to be His witnesses.

Consider the spiritual needs of those visitors who come to your church; perhaps they have never heard the Gospel. And if you are looking for a mission field, consider the ‘unreached people groups’ found inside America’s Liberal and Modern Mega Evangelical church buildings.

Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day. Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples. Ps.96:2-3

Pope or Christ

President Bush said he sees God when he looks into Pope Benedict XVl’s eyes. The Pope’s title , “Vicar of Christ” expresses the Pope’s claim to be the appointed representative of Christ Himself, on earth. That means he is claiming to be standing in the place of Christ, as a substitute. Of course antichrist means “in opposition to”(against), and, “in the place of” Christ. Amazing how he is being treated like a prince by US and UN leaders. They call him “Holy Father”. I don’t hear the man preaching the Deity of Christ or salvation only through Him. I only hear talk of world peace, Communitarianism and Interfaith cooperation.

I remember when Pope John Paul l died, when I was in junior high school. We Catholics mourned his death as if he were our father. I remember feeling incredible loyalty and devotion to Pope John Paul ll, my priests and The Church. My faith was in the Roman Catholic Church, works and sacraments.

Watching the funeral of JPll 20 years after the Lord brought me out of the Catholic Church and into the Kingdom of God, I was amazed to see the near worship of the man, with political dignitaries kneeling before his coffin.

Also in 2005 I got to see the cathedral Duomo in Milan. It was one of the most pagan things I’ve ever seen. As the priest offered up the host in Latin, I observed from the tourist area the huge image of “Mother(goddess) and Child”, the hundreds of prayer candles, the statues of saints which looked like ancient Roman gods, and the focal point: above the altar, a huge stained glass image of the sun, with all it’s rays beaming out. You know, like in Babylonian religion. Roman-Babylonian paganism was blended with Christianity to make a deceiving and attractive mix.

Here is a short comparison list for those who may be unfamiliar with Catholic doctrine. Catholics need to hear the gospel from us. We are Christ’s ambassadors to bring the good news of freedom from the bondage of (pagan) religion and works-righteousness. Right after I was “confirmed”, God used one of His ambassadors to send me a Bible, and through reading the gospel, He opened my eyes so I could see Jesus. God is still saving His lost sheep by His grace.

  • Salvation through God vs Salvation through Roman Catholic Church.
  • Salvation through Jesus vs salvation through Pope.
  • Mediator is Jesus vs Mediator is priest.
  • Intercessor is Jesus vs Intercessor is priest.
  • Jesus was offered up as sacrifice once, vs Eucharistic Christ offered up as a sacrifice often- every time the Mass occurs.
  • Authority is Scripture vs Authority is tradition.
  • Salvation through Grace and Faith vs salvation through works.
  • Salvation through repentance and faith in Jesus vs salvation through Eucharist, confession to priests, confirmation and other sacraments, not to mention Mary, rosaries, holy water, candles, statues, scapulars, and more.
  • Discipleship in the Word vs being a good Catholic.
  • Discipleship by teachers and preachers of the Word, vs Mary and the Saints.
  • Devotion to Jesus Christ vs devotion to the Roman Catholic Church.

... that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light… 1 Pe.2:9.

Change Agents in Your Church?

In April, Rick Warren is scheduled to speak at a preaching conference on “how to use the pulpit to address political, social and cultural issues”. What exactly will he tell pastors to teach their congregations? An article by abpnews.com states,

Warren has set a precedent for using his pulpit to speak about global warming and HIV/AIDS and has invited several prominent political figures — including presidential contenders Senators Barack Obama (D-Ill.) and Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) — to speak in his church.

Political, social and cultural issues aren’t what they used to be. Things have been changing. Change agents are hard at work within the church, transforming churches from Christ centered, Spirit-led, Word focused, Gospel proclaiming, called out (from the world) assemblies, into what they would like them to be: communitarian social service distribution centers. The plan involves recruiting Christian churches to work in unity with other religions, the government, and corporations, to solve the world’s social, economic and physical problems.

According to the bible, the church exists to worship the Lord corporately, for fellowship (based on spiritual unity), to train and edify the saints, and to proclaim the gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ. According to the change agents, the church exists to help supply volunteer labor for the global programs that government and business oversee.

This “three legged stool” cooperation of government, corporate, and “church” does not allow for participating churches or individual Christians to share the gospel in the course of the social work. In addition, “church”, in this communitarian plan, means any “faith based” group of any religion.

I was in the bookstore today and was looking through Everything Must Change, by Brian McLaren. He was basically saying this very thing: traditional Christianity is about man being under the judgment of God and bound for hell, the necessity for substitutionary atonement, and salvation through Jesus for forgiveness of sins to make us right with God. In contrast, he said the emergent view of Christianity is that man has messed up things pretty bad, and must work together to change society and the world, and thus we will find redemption, and we will have the kingdom of God on earth. McLaren re-imagines Jesus and the Gospel, and makes it all about working for a social Utopia. Salvation is not personal redemption, but saving the world through global socialism. That is exactly what Rick Warren was promoting in the Faith and Modernization panel at the World Economic Forum.

Well there you go. What we’ve suspected all along: the Kingdom Now, Purpose Driven and Emergent movements are all related and working for the same thing.

The church is being stripped of it’s power, the Word of God, and the Gospel. It is being recruited to serve the world system, which denies Christ.

Let us resist the change agents, rejecting the invitation to join the world system, doing good to those who have need of help, while never ceasing to boldly proclaim the Gospel, in love.

ONE Faith For All, Pt.3

The Davos World Economic Forum not only discusses economics, but many topics related to the globalization of the world, or, phrased differently, the new re-ordered world system.

The Open Forum panel on “Faith and Modernization”, hosted by Tony Blair, consisted of Muslims, Jews and Catholics, and (Protestant) Christianity. Christianity was being represented by Rick Warren, who claims to be a Baptist Evangelical Christian.

The message communicated by the Muslim, Jewish, and Catholic leaders was basically that religions must coexist, common ground must be found, proselytism must stop, extremism, the source of all the problems, must be stopped, and extremists must be faced and controlled. They declared that all believers (adherents to all religions) must work together in unity for world peace, and that it is in “our hands” to change the world.

Mike Gendron, in his article, The Remarkable Formation of the One World Religion, writes that there are two kinds of unity:

Doctrine is what divides the true church from the emerging world religion. The Bible condemns any unity that is not founded in God’s word. False unity is based upon man’s ambitions and is always independent of God (Gen.11:1-9). This type of unity will be a tool of the Antichrist (Rev. 17-18). On the other hand, biblical unity is based on apostolic truth and is a work of the Holy Spirit, not of man (Eph. 4:3,13; 1Cor.12:13)

When Rick Warren spoke, he stated that the future of the world is religious pluralism, and that the world is becoming more religious, not less. He said “we” cannot solve the ‘Five Giants’ (from the P.E.A.C.E. plan) without involving ‘people of faith’ and their religious institutions. In saying this, he implied people of all faiths, and all religious institutions. He boasted of his membership in the Council on Foreign Relations and promoted the philosophy of the three legged stool of government, business and the ‘faith’ sector working together. He explained that this last leg consists of churches, mosques, synagogues and (Buddhist) temples. He talked about how every village in the world has a church, and by church, he meant any house of worship, of any religion. He said the ‘church’ is the only truly global organization, with the largest pool of committed manpower (volunteer laborers).

Warren said that the ‘church’ has local credibility. This he defines as the local imam, pastor, priest, or rabbi. He asked if we (all houses of worship) can work together with business, government and the U.N. to build the three legged stool. He proposed using houses of worship as community social service distribution centers (managed and funded by government and business). He later admits that the ‘purpose’ of the Purpose Driven Life, is to participate as a volunteer in this interfaith plan to change the world. He challenged the audience with “Can we not all get along?”

Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. 1Jn.2:22.

and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. 1Jn.4:3.

Who will build the One World Religion? Those who deny the Lord Jesus Christ.

Towards the end the prime minister of Malaysia said that we have “one faith, one faith that all of us believe in!”

Eventually the world will officially declare: “ONE faith for all!”
