Waking and Watching

What are you watching? I’m watching the Church. It’s far more interesting and and I believe, more significant than what is happening in “the world”. One can’t even keep up with it all anymore. The flood of apostasy is overwhelming. Here’s a recent news item:

In response to public outcry over the Ground Zero Mosque and other mosque projects in the United States, the Jewish group the Anti-Defamation League has formed the Interfaith Coalition on Mosques. The panel’s self-described purpose is to support Muslim’s right to build mosques around the United States.

The group includes clergy from all faith traditions and one of group members is the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission Executive Director Richard Land.

Land says the purpose for the ADL’s Coalition on Mosques is clear.

“To help support the First Amendment for all Americans—we have the right to the free exercise of our faith without the interference of the government. For over a hundred years, the Supreme Court has ruled that’s not just the federal government, it’s all government,” Land stated.

“We agree with that as Baptists. We believe that people have the freedom to worship and to express their faith and to have houses of worship in the places where they live,” Land added.

I’m trusting you see the point: Land, who is is the president of The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC), the public policy entity of the Southern Baptist Convention, is on an Interfaith Panel. Interfaith panels exist so that people from different religions can dialogue (Diaprax) until they come to a unified group consensus on a matter. Compromise of Truth (denying Christ and His Word) is required to do this. Denying Biblical Truth for the “common good” in society is the planned end result of the Interfaith panels.

Another interesting situation is the fact that the SBC’s ERLC is a UN-NGO. According to UN Resolution 1996/31, the NGO must support the principles of the UN Charter. The NGO must support the activities, initiatives and programs of the UN. The UN is an antichrist organization with the goals of destroying the Christian faith and setting up a global interfaith religion. Read the Millennium Goals of the UN. UN-NGO’s must be in agreement with the UN agenda. Are you surprised to find Evangelical Church Denominations with UN-NGO status?

Land is also apparently a member of the CFR, as is Rick Warren. Land is a member of their Religious Advisory Committee. Here is an interesting talk Land gave at the CFR. Here is Land giving an open forum Q & A discussion at CFR on “U.S. Foreign Policy and the New Evangelical Agenda”. We cannot watch unless we are awake. Brothers and sisters, are you waking up yet?

Government to Enlist Churches via “Partnership”

What does the Government (and Rick Warren and the UN) have planned for the Institutional Church? Social and economic Communitarianism through Church-State partnerships. According to the research I have previously done on “Faith Based Initiatives”, participating churches are NOT allowed to preach Jesus or in any way evangelize, when “in partnership” with the Government and receiving government money for carrying out government programs and goals.

We, the called out ones, are married to Christ, not to the antichrist Beast Government which has an agenda that is of the world system and of the kingdom of darkness. We are part of the Kingdom NOT of this world. We heed the will of the Lord Jesus Christ, not the earthly “powers that be” that are against Christ and His Gospel. We cannot have two Masters; Jesus and the Government. We must choose Whom we will serve. God or mammon. Christ or Belial.

The Green Shepherd

U.S. Joins Alliance of Civilizations

“The Alliance of Civilizations is a special project of the UN Secretary-General which seeks to counter the cultural and religious forces which can lead to extremism and polarization in society, and works to actively engage governments in support of civil society projects that help bring communities together. The Alliance has already developed a number of partnerships with US-based organizations, and the entry of the US government into the Alliance is expected to lead to greater participation by US-based academic and research institutions, NGOs, businesses, religious and media groups.”

Here is a quote from the website for the upcoming AoC forum in Rio:

“The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations seeks to address widening rifts between communities and societies by reaffirming a paradigm of mutual respect among peoples of different cultural and religious backgrounds and by helping to mobilize concerted action towards this end.”

Gospel-less Haiti Relief

While looking for news about the Haiti relief effort a few weeks back, I ended up on the World Vision site where I saw a link to the book, The Hole in Our Gospel, by Richard Stearns, the president of World Vision. Looking for information about this book, I found two interviews with statements that are very important for us to understand at this time, so that we may continue to be found faithful to our Lord Jesus Christ.

In this Sojourners interview, Stearns discusses his philosophy of ministry and his position on the president’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

Read the Sojo interview here at this link.

In this PBS interview, Stearns discusses World Vision’s policy on religion, evangelism and proselytization, as well as his position on Obama’s Faith Based Task Force.

Please continue reading for a collection of quotes from these interviews, and my analysis and exhortation to all the saints.

Globalisation=Opportunity

dsc011052The powers that be officially announced the global economic new order and promoted the one world religion at London’s G-20 meeting. It is happening people! Still on their “things to do” list: global government, global monetary (payment) system and global enforced luciferian worship.

But while all this is developing, we have work to do. We are about our Father’s business. Our job is to preach the Gospel ofdsc011013 Jesus Christ, teach and proclaim the Word of God, disciple believers the best we know how, and edify and serve the body of Christ. While the kingdom of darkness is busy working evil, we serve Christ in His Kingdom, until He returns for us or calls us home. While darkness manifests all around us, we shine the light of Christ, serving Him with gladness!

dsc01104

Globalisation is really an opportunity to reach the world as ambassadors of Christ. As a result of economic globalisation, more people are relocating for work. This is an opportunity to meet and talk with international people who now live next door to us. The Lord promises to build His Kingdom by purchasing men with His blood from every nation. All that the Father has given to Jesus out of the world will be gathered by Him. Let us take the opportunities He gives and be faithful workers in this, His global mission field.

For My name will be great among the nations, says the LORD of hosts. Malachi 1:11

These Last Days: Faithful to Christ

The antichrist Beast government system is global and the unified religious system is in the works. One will have to worship the Beast and it’s image to participate in the world and live (Rev.13:15). In Daniel 3, God’s people would not bow down to Nebuchadnezzar’s image. They would not worship the State. They would not worship the “gold”or any idol. They would not worship men. They would not participate in false worship. Their refusal to bow and their faithful stand for God enraged the king of Babylon. In Psalm 2, the kings of the earth take their stand against the LORD and against His anointed. Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego stayed faithful when the “kings of the earth” stood against them. They used their opportunity before the king to declare their devotion to the one true God. They trusted in the LORD no matter what the king did to them. Christ Himself went with them into the fiery furnace. He is with us, too.

Nebuchadnezzar responded and said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego, who has sent His angel and delivered His servants who put their trust in Him, violating the king’s command, and yielded up their bodies so as not to serve or worship any god except their own God.” Dan.3:28.

These Last Days: Preach Christ

The One World Religion of global spiritual unity is here. Many leaders in the professing Church have fallen away from Jesus to join this “one spirituality” with all Humanity. Professing Christians who have joined this global movement are very much against confessing the exclusivity of Christ and the preaching of the Gospel. Those who are not joining with global unity are beginning to be marginalized and labeled as “haters”.

How should we respond? Preach the Gospel! Proclaim Jesus Christ with love, humility, gentleness and respect. Burn your light bright in this darkness! The more evil manifests, the more we must proclaim Christ. Proclaim the Truth! There is only one true God! Proclaim the holiness of God, His righteous character, His justice and His Law. Preach the Gospel with boldness! Declare the deity of Christ! Proclaim His coming in the flesh, His death and resurrection! Preach repentance and faith. Tell that He is coming to judge the earth in righteousness! Keep sowing the Word. He will guide you as to when, who and how. He will give you what to say. He will give you power from His Holy Spirit. He will give you courage. He will use you to testify of Him.

“But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, in order that I may finish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts20:24.

With Jesus

Here is the latest One World Religion/Beast system news from the UN Interfaith Conference. Threat of terrorism and the quest for world peace are the main reasons given for bringing all religions into interfaith coexistence. I remember back when the “war on terror” was declared and president Bush said, “Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists.” I remember thinking, “Well, I’m not with you, so where does that leave me?”

No longer a political concept only, “terrorism” is now the impetus for religious unity among the nations.

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia said this; “Terrorism and criminality are the enemies of every religion and every civilization. They would not have emerged except for the absence of the principle of tolerance.”

Here’s a quote from Ban; “Concerned about serious instances of intolerance, discrimination, hatred expressions, and harassment of minority religious communities of all faiths, participating states underlined the importance of promoting dialogue, understanding, and tolerance among human beings, as well as respect for all their diverse religions, cultures and beliefs.”

Dear saints, this has everything to do with you. This will eventually be about any testifying, witnessing, preaching, or proclaiming of Jesus Christ that you do. That would not be “conducive to world peace”. It simply will not be allowed by the kings of the earth.

These have one purpose and they give their power and authority to the beast. These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful. Rev.17:13-14.

He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters. Matt.12:30.

Christ our King

When Obama walked out to greet his people on Tuesday night, it just looked different from any acceptance speech I had seen before. It was not a “yea, we won” scene, or a “let’s party!” scene. It was romantic and emotional, with an ethereal glow. It looked like Camelot. No, it looked like the climactic scene in Return of the King, where Aragorn comes into his kingdom, crowned and received with overwhelming joy by adoring subjects. We all know what that was supposed to symbolize.

As I watched this election night scene: hushed reverence, tear streaked faces, starry eyes and hands raised up, I could not help but notice the comparison and contrast. Yes, it looked like a picture and a shadow of what will be. But this near worshipful scene involving a man was nothing compared to what it will be like when we are gathered and brought before our King, Jesus, to celebrate His victory and Kingdom.

O LORD of hosts, my King and my God! Ps.84:3.

Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God…Rev.19:1.

HOPE

Somehow we ended up talking about the world system and how it continually offers false Messiahs, whom the world is eager to follow and worship. These false Messiahs exalt themselves above God, speak things against the Lord and His Christ, deny Christ, and offer themselves to the world as substitute saviors. They are against the Lord’s ways, His Truth, His Law, His Gospel and His people. They may offer promises of hope, prosperity, worldly comforts and well being. As history shows, some seek to rule over a godless Utopia. And though false messiahs are by definition antichrist, some pretend to be Christian in an attempt to get believers to support and cooperate with them.

As we were talking about the world system offering false hope, we were walking across a parking lot. We were remembering when Jesus said,

“I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another shall come in his own name, you will receive him.” John 5:43.

On the back of a parked car was a large, brightly colored sticker done in ‘Communist propaganda poster’ style. It was a picture of Obama looking quite Messianic, and the word HOPE. My little boy pointed a finger at it and said, “You mean like that, mom?!”

God has put us here at this specific time in history, and He has placed us where we are. We know that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one (1 John 1:19). While the world looks for a man to worship and hope in, we must not pass this opportunity to glorify our Lord by proclaiming the gospel and Jesus Christ as the only hope of the world; the only One worthy of our worship.

And now, Lord, for what do I wait? MY HOPE IS IN THEE. Ps.39:7.
