Oh the Rejoicing

Oh the joy, the dancing, the hugging, the celebration, the victory. Oh the awe, weeping for joy, the cheering, singing, hands raised up. Oh the worship, the blowing of trumpets, the laughing for joy. Oh the shouting, the celebration, the gladness, the triumph. Oh the elation, the rapture, the excitement, the intense love for all present, oh the rejoicing…

…when we are united with our King, our Husband, our Lord, our Beloved God and Redeemer. On that day.

The world has the Obama victory. It has the World Series victory. We have Jesus’ victory. We have Him.

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. Gal.6:14

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1Cor.15:57

For what is our hope or joy or crown of exultation(rejoicing)? Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? 1Thes.2:19

And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Is.35:10

With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king’s palace. Ps.45:15

Good Counsel

Quote:

Precede all your labors with earnest, diligent prayer. Do not rest on the number of tracts you have given because a million tracts may not lead to the conversion of one single soul. Yet, a blessing beyond calculation may result from one single tract. Expect everything to come from the blessing of the Lord and nothing at all from your own exertions.”

Courage to Witness: James the Just

Witness to the Religious Establishment

When he was not encouraging and instructing believers, he was witnessing to the unbelieving Religious Establishment. But the Religious Establishment wanted James to shut up! They could not stand the power and truth of his preaching! The chief priest, scribes and Pharisees demanded that he shut up and renounce the truth that Jesus is the Son of God. He dared to tell the truth and was thus charged with breaking their law (blasphemy!). They then gave James one more chance to deny Jesus before throwing him off the temple to be stoned and killed below. Enraged were the enemies of Christ when, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, James declared to them with boldness that Jesus is the promised Messiah, the Son of God, the Saviour, that he is sitting at the right hand of God, and shall come again in the clouds of heaven, to judge the living and the dead!

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12

Anointing Jesus

Most importantly, are we in a close loving relationship with Jesus…..is our life laid at His feet, are we broken open for Him and pouring ourselves out to Him, anointing Him now with the fragrant ointment of our gratitude, love and entire being?

“But remember, we are dealing here with something which the Lord said was to go out with the Gospel, wherever that Gospel should be carried. Why? Because he intends that the preaching of the Gospel should issue something along the very lines of the action of Mary here, namely, that people should come to him and waste themselves on him. This is the result that he is seeking.”

Article: The Goal of the Gospel: Are You a Waste? “There was only one soul who succeeded in anointing the Lord, and that was Mary. A challenging exhortation that weighs out our perceptions of how much Jesus is really worth to us.”

But Jesus said, “Let her alone; why do you bother her? She has done a good deed to Me….”She has done what she could; she has anointed My body beforehand.”….Mark14:6,8

Preparing For the Age to Come

Jesus spoke of the age to come. Are we preparing for this? Are we preparing for the judgment seat of Christ and living in light of eternity? Are we confessing our sin to Him? Are we living a life of continual and increasing repentance? Are we putting to death the deeds of the flesh, killing sin, taking up our cross and following Him? Are we putting to death SELF? Is our cry, “Not my will O Lord but THY will be done!”? We are exhorted to not sin willfully nor walk after the flesh. Are we devoted to Him, living for Him, suffering for Him? Are we listening to Him? Do we obey Him? Paul talked about pressing on toward the goal for the prize. Are we being sanctified through trials and suffering? Are we reproached at all for obeying and representing the Lord Jesus? Are we being tried and purified by His refining fire- now? Are we abiding in Him and bearing good fruit? Are we obeying His commandments and walking in the Spirit? Are we staying on the narrow road? Are we loving and serving the saints of God? Are we bringing people to Jesus and making disciples? Are we doing whatever He is telling us to do? Are we loving NOT the world? Are we separating ourselves unto Christ? Are we doing the deeds and will of our Father?

When He is done wiping the tears from our eyes, after the fire has burned through to judge the quality of our work, then whatever worthy part that remains, we shall lay that down at His feet. And then.. the age to come.

Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. 2Cor5:9

The Blood of the Lamb

God will strike”Egypt” again! The next time, it will be the entire world. At midnight, the judgment of death will pass over all, yet we shall be unhurt. We are safe under the blood of the Lamb. The blood has been applied to the doorposts of our heart; it has been applied to our forehead and our hands. The blood of the Lamb redeems us and protects us from the wrath of God. Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world! His blood was shed for us! Christ our Passover Lamb has been sacrificed. His blood is on us. We belong to Him; He owns us. We are marked by God!

And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt. from Ex.12:13

Gospel-less Haiti Relief

While looking for news about the Haiti relief effort a few weeks back, I ended up on the World Vision site where I saw a link to the book, The Hole in Our Gospel, by Richard Stearns, the president of World Vision. Looking for information about this book, I found two interviews with statements that are very important for us to understand at this time, so that we may continue to be found faithful to our Lord Jesus Christ.

In this Sojourners interview, Stearns discusses his philosophy of ministry and his position on the president’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

Read the Sojo interview here at this link.

In this PBS interview, Stearns discusses World Vision’s policy on religion, evangelism and proselytization, as well as his position on Obama’s Faith Based Task Force.

Watch the PBS interview here at this link.

Please continue reading for a collection of quotes from these interviews, and my analysis and exhortation to all the saints.

Revival in Haiti: Fasting and Prayer

You will not see a report of this true work of God on the satanically controlled MSM, or announced by the Beast world government system, or praise given to God by the Babylonian religious establishment. BUT GOD is bringing His sheep into His fold as He brings them to repentance and faith! He is bringing His people through the purifying fires of affliction, and leading them to repentance that their faith may be found as pure gold for the love, devotion and worship of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. May we also be brought to fasting and prayer– and repentance.

Thanksgiving to God for His mercy in bringing His people to repentance and faith, for His glory and for their joy. Thank You Lord for the work of Your Spirit among the beautiful Haitian people. Praise to God.

Courage to Witness: Paul

Witness to the Religious Establishment and the kings of the earth.

Paul must witness at Jerusalem (to the Religious Establishment) and to the Roman Government (the kings of the earth). The Jews (Synagogue of Satan) conspire under solemn oath to kill Paul (a plot!). Tertullus, hired by and representing the Religious Establishment, acknowledges to the governor the many benefits provided to them by the Roman government which they have enjoyed! Tertullus then falsely accuses Paul of working to help foment a political revolution or insurrection against the government. We note the bond and agreement of cooperation between the Religious Establishment and the world government system. (Does any of this look familiar in our current time?)

Paul speaks to the Roman governor about sin, righteousness, the judgment to come, and faith in Christ Jesus. Felix becomes frightened as he is convicted of his sin. To Agrippa the Jewish king, he boldly and humbly declares what Jesus said, what God has commanded men to do and how prophecy was fulfilled in Jesus.

“Take courage;

for as you have solemnly witnessed to My cause at Jerusalem, so you must witness at Rome also.” Acts23:11
