He witnessed to them from morning till evening, explaining about the kingdom of God, and from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets he tried to persuade them about Jesus.
Acts28:23…He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ–with all boldness and without hindrance! Acts28:31
A Christian parent did a short devotional lesson with 150 kids and teens from Christian families. He then asked them to get in groups and discuss the question, “What do you want to be doing, or what would you like to see happening in the world, 20 years from now?”
A teen boy stood up, it was his turn to share for his group. He joked in silly manner, “World peace!” The parent leader said, “Oh yeah, how you gonna do that?” The boy said, “Kill all the people who are against world peace!” and he laughed and sat down.
No. No! Not kill all the people who are not “for world peace”. My heart breaks.
His parents are ministry leaders in Church. Has the boy not been told about the Kingdom of God and the Way of Jesus? He does not know.
Do they not know the new covenant way about love, doing unto others, about loving neighbors and enemies? About denying self? About LIFE in Christ? About being born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead?
Have they heard about the Way of the Kingdom? Do they know about the new and living way? American cultural-Christianity is nearly identical to the world. Does it see the Kingdom of God as something they must violently bring in, via force and Dominionism? Do they not know it is here now among us? This kind of carnal Christianity is part of the “Roman Empire”. His kingdom operates in an entirely different way than the world system. How can they know if they have not heard? How beautiful are the feet of those who bring tidings of good news.
They have not heard the basic teachings of the kingdom. “My kingdom is not of this world.” We must tell them. We are His witnesses. The Father has transferred us from the power of darkness to the kingdom of His beloved Son. We are ambassadors for Christ, God is making his appeal through us. We implore those in Churchianity on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

The Kingdom of God is established by Jesus Christ and His blood. It is not established by men wielding swords and guns; it is not established by the blood of the massacred masses.
This young person has been told nothing about the seriousness of life. He has been taught to see everything as trivial and that is why he can joke in this way. We must preach the Gospel – that Jesus saves us from sin and death and wrath.
amen gentle iconoclast, Jesus came to seek and save the lost..
Yes! God bless you, Loretta!

I appreciate your blog very much. I find very few who actually try to think biblically. It seems so many have been fooled by the system they consider the church. Can you tell me what state you are in?

Hi, I’m in the San Francisco Bay Area. The area is known for the majority of people being “nones” and many are atheist. New Age, Eastern thought, Evolution as a religion, Liberal politics as religion, and Earth based and cosmic spirituality are all big here. Of the religious (i believe the stat is less than 1% of our population), there is RCC, Judaism, Mainline Protestant, Greek&RussianOrthodox, Evangelical of every kind, etc, but almost all are 501c3Churchgoers, status quo. It’s basically a mission field here.
Good word Sis.
It seems to me that this Dominionist type thinking has so infected the church that it is very hard to find a group of believers that want to meet corporately. I was basically asked to leave for having this point of view. It has been 2 years now and I have only found 2 people in my area that want to meet.
I can’t help but think that meeting corporately is something that is part of what God wants of us and it is a desire I have but, I think the same thing will happen all over again. Do you have any thoughts on this?
