And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Matt.24:40
We are living out Jesus life in us (we are one with Jesus) as we experience His suffering, rejection and pain.
We are living out Jesus life in us (we are one with Jesus) as we minister love and help to the little sheep in His flock that are suffering, rejected and hurt.
We “are ” Jesus in our own experience as we experience His suffering rejection and pain.
We “are” Jesus to them as we minister love kindness and help to the little sheep.
We, as Christ, are living the life He lived. We are “taking it” (abuse, pain, sorrow) as He did. We, as Christ, are ministering to the least of His brethren, His ministry. We are “giving” (love, healing) to the least of the little sheep, as He did.
IT IS INTERESTING THAT THE WORD BRETHREN ALSO MEANS BLOOD BROTHERS..(IN OTHER WORD JEWS)
WhoEVER is in Christ, in His covenant through His shed blood by faith, are His blood brothers, regardless of ethnicity. “The least of these my brethren” means even the “least” little humble, insignificant, nobody (in the eyes of the world, even in the eyes of ‘The Church’) Christian saint. From every nation, tribe, tongue, “ethnos”. Thank You Jesus.
Acts 17:26 And hath made of “one blood” all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth,
I am glad when I suffer for you in my body, for I am participating in the sufferings of Christ that continue for his body, the church.~ Col 1:24
