“CHURCH is who we are, not where we go.” ~  unknown

Actually, “Church” is not even a good word for us, “ekklesia” (ἐκκλησίᾳ) is the actual word: “called out, assembled” unto Jesus Christ, belonging to Him. That is who we are. Yes the assembly of called out people unto Jesus Christ, is a people, not a place. It’s us ! Thank YOU Jesus.

This lovely article by Lynette Woods is about leaving the word “Church” and about the ekklesia, (people) and about substitutes for Christ.

  1. I was thinking about how this “assembling” is spiritual. We are spiritually assembled unto Christ. In our carnality we try to make this word, and many others, work out in the physical realm. Therefore we MUST be physically assembled. (at church of course!)

    • Sorry but no ; we must be assembled at love, not at church.

it’s not geogical, but same spirit in a world action in jesus-christ

Building is the illusion of a meeting, look how much humans who believe are family just because they live under the same roof. We must learn to trust in invisibles links, CHRIST.
walls separate christ from the world. We are one, don’t separate what god made one. 🙂
