no different

Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.” John4

Reasons why Protestantism and Neo-Evangelicalism
are NO different from the “Holy Roman Catholic Church Empire”….
from which they came:

1. Priests (titled pastors who are separate “clergy”, distinct from the “laity”)
2. Hierarchy: top down rule, Nicolaitinism rule over the people; seeks power and control.
3. Cathedrals (Church buildings).
4. Celebrates pagan “Holy Days” (pagan false holidays for the worship of the “gods”).
5. Mixing with politics (Church and State intertwined). Yolked and in agreement with the government.
6. Taking money from poor Christians& widows, to fund The Church.
7. Support of war, support of the government’s actions at all times without question.
8. Friendship with the world: alliances with the kings of the earth for political advancement.
9. Tells the people, “There is no salvation outside The Church.” (a lie bringing people into bondage, whereas Christ came to set men free.)
10. Tells people, “Come to Church” rather than, “Come to Christ”.
11. Titles, positions, clergy benefits and perks. Loves greetings and praises by important people, and access to front seats at the conferences.
12. Practices man-made Church traditions.
13. Worships via Church buildings and pastor-priests rather than directly through Jesus Christ.
14. Scripture-twisting to sell many false teachings such as “tithing”.
15. Points the lost to Itself rather than to Jesus Christ. People are evangelized for the purpose of hopefully getting them into their Church as members.
16. Intellectualism, letter of law, book knowledge and reason, rather than spiritual revelation from the Spirit of God. Dead liturgy rather than Life in Christ.
17. Goal is to keep The Institution alive (attendance, buildings, ca$h), and keep their “place and “nation”, rather than truly loving, caring for and feeding the little sheep of the Shepherd.
18. Teaches members their identity as (insert Name of Church or Denomination, Christian Organization or Theology here) members rather than true identity in Christ.
19. Assumes rights to, and Seeks World Dominion.
20. Will crucify (or burn) anyone who is a heretic and who does not submit.

  1. Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. “But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.”

At this point His disciples came, and they were amazed that He had been speaking with a woman, yet no one said, “What do You seek?” or, “Why do You speak with her?” So the woman left her waterpot, and went into the city and said to the men, Come, see a man who told me all the things that I have done; this is not the Christ, is it?” They went out of the city, and were coming to Him. John4

  2. Jesus was speaking with a *woman*….. !!! A woman with a succession of different *husbands* in her past………… He is telling her about being a true worshipper of the Father……. she left her *waterpot* (…was it cracked?Jeremiah2:13…..) …….. she told everyone in her town about HIM……. they went out of the city (false religious-pagan-political- Christendom?) and they came to HIM.

    • Hey Loretta I am trying to analyze this. Now I could type what I think this mean but I rather you just explain. I have an interpretation but I just prefer you give me the correct one, after i understand we will then have a laugh on what I thought you were saying. 🙂

      • hi Rickey. I believe the metaphors repeat in the OT and in the gospels, the rest of the NT scripture and down through church history to the end. Also I believe metaphors can have more than one meaning. What I’m sharing is what the Lord showed me. In this story of course it is a picture of Jesus witnessing to a lost person. He tells her/ shares with her the gospel which is Himself. But there’s more metaphorical meaning…… A woman is a metaphor for God’s people, sometimes “all” God’s professing people, sometimes it refers to the idolatrous sometimes to the faithful. You can say the woman here is The Church (visible, in its entirety) or you can say she is the individual person in Christianity who is religious but has not yet actually met the Lord. She meets Him in this story. In this case, we could say she is a religious person (yes someone involved in Christianity) who has not actually had 1 husband (Christ) but several (idols, substitutes for Christ). She thinks that she has to do religion according to the different religious traditions and rituals (go to the temple, go to the synagogue, go to Church)…He reveals to her that the Father seeks true worshipers who worship in Spirit and in Truth. That means, via Jesus Christ. He reveals Himself to her as The Way…… the messiah…… the One through whom we worship in Spirit and Truth. So He is saying it is about Him, not religion or “where you go” (tradition and religion). This is pretty paradigm shattering because the Samaritans said you had to worship on this mountain and the Jews said you had to worship on that mountain. Jesus is revealing Himself as the place/ way through which to worship, that pleases the Father. Pretty shocking, for this went against everyone’s traditions. ; ) Then she became a witness and told everyone in her town about HIM, and the text says they went out of the city and came to Him. So she was a witness pointing people, not to religion, a mountain or a building, but she told them about Him, and they came to Him.

        God bless you brother.

  3. Amen! Keep speaking thr truth sister! I stand in agreement with you. We preach Christ Jesus and Him crucified, no exceptions. Go ye therefore sister….

  4. Hey Loretta, my pastor told me that God only speak to the pastor of a church and not the laity. This statement took me by surprise. I don’t believe this is true. I haven’t been to church going on 2 in a half months (estimating) and now the pastor of the church is trying to “reach out” to me. He along with some other members assume that I have left God, I just turned 20 this year and I’m a little overtaken by this. I’m not yielding to a lie, and I’m trying to stay peaceable. What is your thought on this Loretta.

  5. Rickey! I almost can’t believe that your pastor said that. Then again, nothing surprises me anymore in Churchianity.

Rickey it is not true. What your pastor said is a lie. I heard an Evangelical pastor in my area say this on Christian radio recently. I thought, “What is this the year 1200 or something?” This is part of the “Roman Catholic Church” traditions that are in Protestantism/ Evangelicalism (which includes many denominations such as Pentacostal and Reformed Churches). Jesus speaks directly to His sheep (His people). He is their Shepherd and mediator. The pastor is not the mediator between the people and God, Jesus is. You do not go to God through the pastor but through Jesus directly. The pastor may hear from God yes, but he is not the only “class” of Christians who do. The “class” system of Clergy and laity is Roman Catholic which comes from paganism, ie pagan priests in the temples of the Greko-Roman gods. Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice.” His sheep is all His redeemed (who abide in Him and are listening to Him and walking with Him and following Him.) Class-system Christainity is a manmade tradition of the Harlot Church System, what i call Churchianity. With this, Church and or the pastor becomes the substitute for Christ. Jesus gives us all different gifts, callings, roles, but we are all to be brothers (equal) and serve one another in love, not lording it over one another. There is no special “titled” or “ranked” class that is above the others. We all have access through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The priest(clergy)-laity system keeps the people bound to IT and them as purveyors (givers) of your relationship with God. This is the system that was set up at the time of Constantine and operated this way though the middle ages. This teaching (that you must go through them to have God) is one of bondage, and Christ said He came to make men free (from bondage to religion). John 8:36 and Gal.5:1.

A real pastor is a man who loves and cares for the sheep and feeds them humbly because he cares for them with the love of Christ. He sees himself as a brother and fellow-sheep, not as someone “higher up” than the lowly laity. He does not try to make the “laity” (the brethren) to submit to him, he encourages them to follow Jesus Christ and points them to Jesus Christ, not to himself or his Church.

I encourage you to read for yourself in the scriptures what the word has to say about this, and I encourage you to spend time alone with Him, seeking Him and listening to Him and seeking to do the will of the Father. He said, “This is My beloved Son, LISTEN TO HIM.”

You are accountable not to a pastor or to a “local church”, you are accountable directly to Jesus Christ your Lord.

We all (in the body of Christ) are supposed to encourage one another, serve one another and care for one another in love, according to our spiritual gifts and how He leads us by His Spirit. And He wants us to listen to Him, for He does speak to those who have ears to hear.

    your sister,
ps Yes i am old enough to be your mother! : )

  6. ps Rickey, the pastor’s treatment/ statement that “you have left God” if you have left his Church, is a Nicolaitan (controlling) manipulation, designed to guilt-fear-control you, manipulate you, make you afraid, and make you submit. This is exactly what the Roman Catholic Church Empire was doing (and still does). This tactic in our day is no different from the threats of Rome toward those who would not submit, and no different from the threats and treatment the Pharisees gave those who would not submit (John the Baptist, Jesus, and the followers of Jesus). Think about that.

Grace and peace to you, brother! in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  7. @ Rickey, if I may, I can help answer this for you….It is the same as the Pharisees fearing Jesus, nothing ever changes.. The Romans (the state) were the beast that had dominion over Israel. The Pharisees and Sadducee feared the Romans rule more than they feared God. The same with the modern day Christian Pharisees and Sadducee; they fear the state which grants them permission to be priests and ministers will take away all that they have..

John 11:48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.

Fear controls the church, just as it did back then. If everyone were to follow Jesus the Christian Pharisees would be left with nothing and surely the state would take away their place.

. William Tyndale, a true man of God, fought this same battle, with the Catholic Pharisees.

Revelation is given to all men by the power of the Holy Ghost Your pastor fears that if you receive revelation from God then he will be left with nothing and have to get a real job.

Jesus said if you keep His commandments He will send the Comforter the Holy Ghost, and the Holy Ghost will teach you all things. This is not to say that we don’t have spiritual elders, we do….But it is by the appointment of God, and not men…I have never found in scripture where the Holy Spirit moves upon the “Board of Directors”

My advice is to flee all organized religion, it has all gone bad, they are all self serving. Could there be the odd one that is still doing good works of God? Yes….But that would be like finding a needle in a hay stack…If it is 501 it is automatically not of God…..That leaves only about 1% to choose from that could possible be legitimate, and most of that 1% is no good either.

What your church is doing now Rickey is this, The come to you like Cain did to Able.. “lets talk about it”.. The church is jealous of your daily spiritual sacrifices unto the Lord…They want you to join back into their vegetable sacrifice…

Gen ch 8 8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother:

Peace be with you in our Lord Jesus Christ

  8. That’s a good answer Bill, thank you. I agree with what you said about that fear. I wrote a short blog about that. Also the reference to Cain and Abel is a really good one, that story is a repeat as so many are. Thanks Bill!

Unbind him and let him go.
Jesus has called us His friend. Behold how He loves us! He came to us to awaken us from spiritual death by His power and Life. We have gone to our death and burial with Christ. Jesus commanded the stone be moved; He will allow nothing to hinder the salvation of those He loves. He has made us alive by the Word of His command. He has healed us, given us His Life, raised us and called us out of the tomb. He has seated us in the heavenly places with Him. He IS the Resurrection! And we are resurrected by Him, for Him and with Him. Our Master Jesus Christ is in control of death and Life. To Him be all the glory!

But what are these bothersome trappings presently covering us? Are we bound hand and foot with wrappings, our face wrapped around by a cloth? What good did all this do for anyone? It did not help cover up the reality of death. Perhaps it was only for the sake of religious tradition that we were so decked out for burial. But alive now in Christ, we cannot move or see Him, being so bound. All these wrappings hinder our relationship with Him! Jesus now issues the command that we be released from the bondage of the religious systems that bind us hand and foot. He wills that we see Him and Hear Him. He wills that we be able to walk, in order to ‘follow the Lamb wherever He goes’. He wills that we be able to lift our arms to put our hands to the plow. He wills that we be released from false doctrines and unprofitable traditions to pursue friendship with Him; to worship in Spirit and Truth. He comes against the religious bondage we are in and decrees that we be free indeed!
“Unbind him and let him go.”

Now we are seated at the table with Christ and His other friends, eating supper. But notice, the religious people are angry at this: “But the chief priests took counsel that they might put Lazarus to death also; because on account of him many of the Jews were going away, and were believing in Jesus.” John 12:10-11. Incredibly, the religious system does not approve of your resurrected Life. You have been released from their bondage and control. They are not happy for you. On account of you, the people may go away from them to believe in Jesus.

  9. “Hey Loretta, my pastor told me that God only speak to the pastor of a church and not the laity. This statement took me by surprise. I don’t believe this is true”

    @ Rickey

That is a blatant lie – so easy to open the Bible and see it is a lie.

Jeremiah 31:33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

John 6:45 It is written in the Prophets, ‘And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me–

Hebrews 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.

Here is a good illustration of how the catholic church started using such lies to control people

God bless you in Christ Jesus. -Jim

  10. Now I am aware that after my departure, burdensome wolves will be entering among you, and they will not spare the flock. Acts 20:29

A “spiritual leader” who lusts for control and dominion over others will seek to look as normal as possible, fitting in with his lingo to deceive, charm, and disarm with his charisma. He doesn’t even have to actually be a Christian himself. This man will strut himself towards the pulpit, the perceived place of authority and control over others, and by trickery and falsehood deceive the hearts of the simple and “the unsuspecting.” What better group of people to manipulate, control, and “make a living off of” than the proverbial group of dumb sheep!
