Hear O Israel

…the Israel of God. Gal.6:16

Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as referring to many, but rather to one, “And to your seed,” that is, Christ. Gal.3:16

For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God. Gal.2:28-29

For we are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh.. Phil.3:3

Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they [are] not all Israel, which are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, [are they] all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these [are] not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. Rom.9:6-8

And if ye [be] Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Gal.3:29

Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. Gal.4:28

We are Israel! The promises of God and the blessings are to us. The birthright belongs to us. National political State of Israel is not true Israel. Nor are the unbelieving people who claim to be through the flesh. I am Israel! You are Israel! And so are all who are born from above by the Spirit; those who are Descendants of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob, through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is Israel, and all who are in Him. The seed is CHRIST, and He (the seed ) is in us if we are born from above by His power, and given His Spirit.

The nation switched from the physical to the spiritual at the cross. First is the physical. Then after, the spiritual. No, “The Church” did NOT replace Israel! The called out assembly, the ekklesia, has always been and IS, Israel. The flesh profits nothing, the promised seed of Abraham is Christ. (Physically it ended there.) You must be born again! God does not practice racism, respect of persons, nor ethnic apartheid. He does not have two groups of His Chosen People: one of the flesh by natural birth, and one of the Spirit by faith and spiritual re-birth. We who belong to the LORD God through faith in Jesus Christ have been given the seed– which is Christ in us. This has nothing to do with our physical genetics of the flesh. Being Israel does not come by the flesh seed of man. Fleshly heritage, bloodlines and genetics are not what determines one’s standing before God. Israel is the redeemed from all ethnic groups of the earth.

Those who are in Christ are Israel, and Israel is spiritual now in the New Covenant, not a physical ethnic group or a geographical-political nation. The Israel of God is of the Spirit. There are only two kinds of people: the saved and the lost. Jesus promises to bring some from every tribe, tongue, people (ethnic group) and nation into His Kingdom. There is only one Kingdom of God. There are not two, one for physical Jews, one for Christians (or “Gentiles”). In Christ there is no Jew or Greek. There is only one people of God, not two. There is only one Gospel message, not two. There is only one salvation plan, not two. There is only one flock, not two.

Jesus Christ IS the Holy Nation! (We are the Holy Nation, in Him.) It is about Jesus Christ! Not physical ethnic bloodlines or political nations. He is the Chosen One. He is the supreme One. He is the Favored One. He is the Anointed One. He is the promised seed. He is Zion. He is the Holy Land. He is the Righteous One. He is the promised One. It is His blood that makes us holy. His blood and seed is in us spiritually, making us sons and daughters of God, and brethren of Christ Jesus, and children of the Father. Now we are heirs to His Kingdom. There is only one “chosen people” who are the true beloved people of God. God is the God of Israel. We are Israel. We are His people. He is our God.

  1. The encouragement and good promises to Israel in the OT are to those in Christ by faith, the remnant 1/3 who are put through the fire and refined. The warnings, judgments and curses to Israel in the OT are to the apostate Church, the 2/3 that shall be cut off and perish.

“Christian Zionism” is a big Church lie.

“I lay in Zion a cornerstone”– this Zion is the Church, remnant Israel and apostate Israel, both.
Jesus the plumb line-He separates the two. He measures and divides it up.

And we must preach the GOSPEL to all nations and ethnic groups, and tell them the Truth. God is no respecter of persons. No one is excused from the necessity to repent and believe by FAITH upon Jesus Christ. And He has commanded us to preach the Gospel to every creature.

This means the Black African Judah-Hebrews are wrong. And the Anglo-Saxon Israelites are wrong. And the ethnic Jewish supremacists are wrong. And anybody else who thinks they are all that and automatically holy and in the Kingdom because of their ethnic background.

Lord Jesus I embrace You! I embrace Your people, the saints, worldwide!

Lord Jesus! You are the true Israel! You are the nation! You are the Chosen One of God! You are the seed! I bless You with all my heart! And your people, the brethren, those You have purchased with Your blood, those who have Your Spirit, the saints worldwide; they are Israel! I bless them too! The Israel of God IN every nation, in Liberia, Albania, Turkey, Armenia, “Israel”, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, China, N.Korea…..in every nation Lord. I bless YOU, I bless Your people, O God.

  3. YES!!
This whole “better stand with Israel” the physical land, it’s all a diversion that has many in the church, and the world) focused on the wrong thing.

    Galatians 4:22-26
For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which engendereth to bondage, which is Hagar. For this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

We are the new Jerusalem, the city of God! (by being IN CHRIST and CHRIST being in us)

    • amen Gina! Standing with Israel is standing with Jesus Christ and His redeemed: true Christians, our brothers and sisters in Him! Not standing with an ethnic group or a political nation. There is a true Israel and a fake; the “whole world” (of the Church) wonders after this Beast (the fake Israel). This is a distraction and deception of the highest order. God give Your people eyes to see!

    • amen Gina! Without faith it is impossible to please God. It is faith in Jesus Christ, not being born of a certain physical ethnic heritage, that pleases God and makes you His people. And yes it has been true all thru history, it is those who trust in Him and do His will, that are His people.

  4. Amen. A great truth that should not bring condemnation to the physical Jews but open ones eyes to the precious promises of God

All those promises made to Israel are made to us. Praise god. Let’s live in the victory of Jesus.

    • amen Pete, this truth is good news for all, because God’s exclusiveness is not restricted to ethnic group, but to Jesus Christ. There is one gospel for all, one salvation plan for all, one group of God’s people, one Shepherd, one flock, and all who are in Christ by faith, those who obey the gospel, who are His. This is hope! Since no nations/ ethnic groups are left out. God’s family, His people, is open for all, no racism or respect of persons. The gospel is good news! And it is for everybody. Yes happy blessing– the promises to Israel are for us! We are so blessed! Solid encouragement from Him to us! Thank You Lord!

  5. Expanding on this we ask, “Where is the temple of God today?” We are the living stones and He the cornerstone. He lives not in temples made by hand but rather in the heart of His believers. Thus, has the temple been rebuilt? Are there sacrifices being offerd? Where will the Abomination that leads to Desolation be that Satan exalts himself? Oh believer do not be deceived by the evil one. Stop looking for physical signs that signal some hallejuliah train to wisk you away before things get bad…They already are bad! And they will get worse! But He is our refuge and strength!

  6. amen Mickey, the teachings and understanding of “the temple of God” is a separate but very much related topic. amen, we are the true temple of God. This is God’s dwelling place.

The apostate Church as a whole is another layer of “the temple of God” in that it is professing to be His dwelling place……. this is where the AOD happens.

  7. There is Israel, and then born again Israel, the old waxeth away that the new should come.

Jesus was the ultimate expression of mercy, forgiveness of dept ..He was the 7×7 #49 Jubilee plus the the perfection of 49 times 10..Mercy was perfected in Christ. 70 weeks of Daniel x 7=490. our mercy like his is to be …He told Peter that we are to have the same mercy and forgiveness of. dept

Matthew 18:22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Its in the Lords prayer for give us of our debts, as we forgive our debtors….We are no living in 24/7 jubilee in Jesus Christ.

Praise God from whom all blessings come…

Thanks for all work laboring in the field Loretta

Keep Jesus love and give it to others

  8. Hello Loretta, I’m not sure if you are aware but you answered my question from a couple of days ago. Talk about a revelation ( lol), many church people and many geo-political Israelites are not aware of this. Thank the Lord for truth! And I pray you stand strong and keep speaking truth.

  9. Hebrews 13:13-15…..”So we must go to him outside the camp and endure the insults he endured. We don’t have a permanent city here on earth, but we are looking for the city that we will have in the future. Through Jesus we should always bring God a sacrifice of praise, that is, words that acknowledge him.”

HE – JESUS- IS the Holy City of GOD! The new heaven and the new earth…for HE is the tabernacle…not a city made of brick and mortar, but of living stones of which He is the Chief and Foundation…

      • “…..FROM HIM who called you in the grace of Christ………To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory….”

FROM HIM….WHICH CHRIST IS IN YOU……it’s not some “place”, or “thing” or anything temporal….for all things were created by Him, for Him, and through Him, for His glory and before it ever was…He was….Christ in you, the hope of glory….Christ in You, Christ in You, from Him, from Him…the HOPE of glory.

  10. AMEN!, dear sister. I love the pulpit pounding truth in your last paragraph. It spells the truth out just as it is. It’s all pretty clear to me.

On a related note, have you ever read a book called: ‘Christianity is Jewish’ written by Edith Schaeffer? I read it three years ago and have read it twice more since. An easy read and a difficult one to put down. I thoroughly enjoyed it. You might, too.

    Great post. Glory to God!

    • hi Paul, thank you and, no I have not read that, have not heard of it. Hmmmm what does it promote? -_-

Not interested in being a “messianic” ……… Or Jewish!….. or practicing any form of “Judiasm” (no no no)…… but……… I have left “Christianity” anyway…..
to follow Jesus. I do understand that much of “Christianity” the religion, (for example………pulpits, priests and Church buildings) is completely pagan.

with love and friendship in Christ Jesus,

  11. Look at the actual word ‘Christian’. Did the saints call themselves ‘Christians’ (Greek christianos, plural christianoi)? In the apostles’ day, who used the word “Christian” (christianos), and in what way and for what purpose? what is the literal, linguistic meaning of the word “Christian”? Its root or etymological background is this: It comes from the Greek noun christianos which was derived from the title Christos. The practical meaning of the word christianos, plural christianoi, was “a follower of the Christos”.

The Greek word christianos appears only three times in the Bible. Some “modern” bible-versions have put the word “Christian” in numerous passages, but the Greek text has christianos only in Acts 11:26 and 26:28 and 1 Peter 4:15. Acts 11:26 And having found him, he brought him to Antioch. And so it was with them that for a whole year they were gathered together in the assembly and taught a large crowd: and the disciples were first called [A] Christians [christianous] in Antioch.

[A] Please note that this verse does not say that the disciples in Antioch called themselves christianous. The meaning appears to be that other people in that town used that word of them. Here is a similar passage:

Acts 26:28 And Agrippa said unto Paul, ‘In a little thou dost persuade me to become a Christian!’ [christianon]

1 Peter 4:14 if ye be reproached in the name of Christ—happy are ye, because the Spirit of glory and of God upon you doth rest; in regard, indeed, to them, he is evil-spoken of, and in regard to you, he is glorified; 15 for let none of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or evil-doer, or as an inspector into other men’s matters; 16 and if as a Christian, [christianos] let him not be ashamed; and let him glorify God in this respect

So, did the saints use the name christianos of themselves? The answer is that there is no indication of that. If you carefully read those passages with their context, you will note that it appears that it was outsiders, the ridiculing non-believers, who called the saints and believers christianos. Some might wonder, “Then what did the saints call themselves?” What we do know, is that the New Testament writers addressed the saints (as the Greek NT text records it) by such words and names as adelphoi (“brothers”), pistoi (“faithful ones”), eklektoi (“chosen ones”), hagioi (“separated ones”), and so on, including mathêtai (“disciples”) as in Acts 11:26 and numerous other passages. But not christianos; it seems that that was a by-word which was used by outsiders.

Understanding this, also helps one to better understand this passage in the apostle Peter’s letter to certain saints:1 Peter 4:14 If you are reviled for the name of the Anointed [Greek, Christos], blessed are you, for the Spirit of praise and of God rests upon you. They speak evil of him, but you honour him. 15 But let none of you undergo punishment as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a meddler in other people’s matters. 16 Yet, if anyone undergoes punishment for being a christianos, let him not be ashamed but rather praise God because of that.

This indicates that the word christianos was used as an accusation, in the Roman (and Jewish) world of New Testament times. Being a christianos was something that one was persecuted for, and even put in jail and killed for. Again: As far as we can see, the saints did not use the word christianos of themselves. It appears that it was the outsiders who used that word of them.

And of course, later, when the Catholic Church was founded, the word christianos began to be used in a different way. But, like everything associated with or originating out of “Rome” (better yet, hell) that has nothing to do with Jesus or the saints or with how that word has been used in the apostles’ day.

  12. Loretta I am at home going through a lot of your sermons ( yes I call them sermons) I get so excited reading and going into the word through your blogs.

  14. Just one additional point. In the Old Covenant, they were saved by Faith in the coming Messiah, and not in the blood of goats etc. In the New Covenant, we are saved through faith in the finished work of Messiah at Calvary. So, why the point? Because as we can see from your post Loretta, it has ALWAYS been by the Holy Spirit, and thus spiritual and never physical. Everything He did was for His glory and never because of the righteousness of men.
