You have heard that it was said………. Matt5
You have heard that it was said
(by Church Leaders),
“There are two classes of Christians: the superior clergy and the lowly laity.”
But I say to you that you are all equal brothers and sisters.
“You must be in a Church.”
But I say to you that you must be in Christ.
“Love The Church.” (the Thing)
But I say to you, Love the LORD your God with all your heart, mind, soul, strength and your neighbor as yourself. And Love one another (other believers).
“God only speaks today though the Bible.”
But I say to you, that Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice.”
“The prophetic scriptures are ONLY to be interpreted literally.”
But I say to you, He has told us, “I have used similitudes.” Hosea 12:10
“The church is a building that you go to; an institutional business organization that you must join and support as a member.”
But I say to you, the church is you, wherever you happen to be, and if you are in Christ, you are a member of His church.
“You must give tithe money to the Institutional Church.”
But I say to you, God desires us to give freely (without compulsion) directly to those in need, especially to those in the household of the faith, as led by His Spirit.
“The Church is the supreme authority over all saints.”
But I say to you, Jesus Christ is the supreme authority over all saints.
“The Church is the only place of spiritual protection in this world.”
But I say to you, no. In Jesus Christ our Lord, is the only place of spiritual protection anywhere.
“There is no salvation outside the local Institutional Church.”
But I say to you, this is a LIE. Jesus Christ alone is the only salvation, and no man or Church.
“The Church is the mediator between God and men.”
But I say to you, this is a LIE. There is one mediator between God and men, Christ Jesus.
“You have to submit to a pastor. You have to bring yourself under the authority of the local Church.”
But I say to you, this is a LIE. We bow the knee only to Christ Jesus. We bring ourselves under the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ. We submit, all of us, to one another in love.
