substitute

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Matt24:5

I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. John5:43

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 2Thes2:4

Substitutes for Jesus within Christianity are many. The Pastor. The Church. The Government. The nation. The political party. The Bible Study. The Study Bible notes. The Theological Systems named after men. The hope of a Christian Theologically Reconstructionist America. Church Rules and traditions. Movements. The culture. The Institutions. The Group. Self. One of the most popular substitutes for Jesus among Christians is the political nation, the State of Israel. It is offered up in the Church as a substitute christ for devotion.  Allegiance, love, reverence, awe and worship are redirected away from the true Savior, and given to a substitute.

  1. Many Christians worship the ultimate antichrist, the substitute christ: an ethnic group or a nation which rejects Jesus Christ, they worship the satanic State of Israel. They love State of Israel more than Jesus. They worship the Beast. It is “death” to anyone who does not.

  2. Lord Jesus the Churches and Christianity want us to worship those who hate You. They want us to worship the Beast. They want us to worship a nation that hates You and is working against You. They want us to worship a nation that is a substitute for You. They want us to worship a nation that worships satan. They want us to give our love, devotion and allegiance to them not to You. They want us to obey it not You. They want us to serve it not You. O Lord we will not do this wickedness! We will not worship the Beast! We love, follow, worship and serve You, and no other. (Revelation13)

  3. Just like the Hebrews in the wilderness refused the manna fom heaven, and wanted quail. The church also refuses the manna from heaven daily, as they want to eat of the flesh of birds (quail).
I quess they havent had their belly full of birds yet.

Numbers 11 30 And Moses gat him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.

31 And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day’s journey on this side, and as it were a day’s journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.

32 And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.

33 And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague.

34 And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted.

35 And the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.

  4. Matthew 24:4 (KJV) – “I am Christ” in the original Greek says that “Christ” is “christos”. It means “anointed one.” In other words, what we have here is Jesus talking about MANY who would come IN HIS NAME claiming to be ANOINTED ONES. His warning is continued repeatedly in the Gospels…

The words “false christs” is actually one single word in the Greek; “pseudochristos.” It (literally translated) means “a false anointed one.” Now, consider these things Jesus Himself warned His sheep about… How frequently do we hear men, standing behind their golden pulpits, boasting that they are “anointed ones”? How many times have you heard someone refer to “their anointing”? etc, etc,…..

Please notice, that Jesus did not merely say that many would come claiming to be Him (i.e. “the” Christ), but that they would come claiming to be “anointed ones” (christs/christos). Why would this deceive so many people? Because Jesus also said they would come “in His name” (in other words, claiming to be sent by Jesus). They would look like the real deal. They would say, “we come to you in the name of the Lord and we are anointed.” But watch carefully when you hear this kind of boasting. It may be that the voice you are hearing is “pseudochristos”! Remember, Jesus said there would be MANY who come in His name.

John, the beloved, taught that every true Christian is anointed by God and therefore needs no “anointed one” who claims to have special teachings or revelations that they lack. The only specially anointed one is THE Anointed One – Jesus Christ. Anyone who claims to have special anointing and thus special knowledge, John identifies with the spirit of antichrist.

    Be on guard….test EVERY spirit…..
