Therefore Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” John 18:37

….He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords…….To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.  From 1Tim.6:15 &16

Who is your ruler, authority and head? Who do you answer to and bow to? Many choose to have various other people or things fill this role in their lives as Christians. Some decide that their “statement of faith”, Theological System, Church or Denomination is their authority. Others allow their favorite theologian, or pastor to rule over them. Others submit themselves to government authorities or political-religious ideologies and movements that are based on political earthly dominion or physical racial superiority. Religious and secular leaders alike were threatened by the Kingship of Jesus over His people. They still are. Jesus threatens their sense of power and control over people. Over the head of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they mocked His authority with a sign: THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. He is King of His people! And we are His people. We serve Him. We answer to Him. Jesus, the Lamb of God, has redeemed us with His own blood. He now rules our heart, our mind, our will, our entire being. Jesus is our King.

  1. His is the kingdom and glory and power forever! These words alone could lead us out of a hundred snares like those you mentioned sister. His kingdom is not of this world. These words have been a strong comfort and encouragement to me in other areas too. Feeling weak and fearful? No need to feel that way when we are children of God! His is the kingdom and glory and power forever.

The kingdoms of this world that lie in darkness are passing away, but His is the kingdom and glory and power forever.

  2. hi Mickey, yes i am well thank you! I’ve been having a month full of family, home, visiting relatives, packing half the house, doing some basic ‘fixing’ that needs to be done in our home (things fall apart after so many years…) and preparing for the new school year. I’ve also been doing a series of short expose’s on my Facebook featuring some examples of the apostacy that has corrupted the Evangelical Church (such as what I have on the Babylon Church sidebar). Soon I hope to be back on here. I miss you too! (everyone). Thanks for asking, dear brother!
