Mediator

He is also the mediator..Hebrews 7:6

Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant…Hebrews 12:24

For there is one God and one mediator between God and men,

the man Christ Jesus. 1Tim.2:5

Who is your mediator? A man, or Jesus Christ? A thing, or Jesus Christ? Yesterday I was listening to Christian radio in my car. The man preaching sounded ok until he started preaching that the pastor of the Church is the mediator between the people and God! He preached the pastor as mediator!  I couldn’t believe my ears! This was an “Evangelical” pastor teaching; this was not a Roman Catholic station. I try not to listen to mainstream Evangelical Christian teaching anymore; when I do I end up yelling at the radio and preaching Truth back at it. The false doctrine in the Church is astounding. Don’t assume yours is pure as the driven snow. Let’s just get this out on the table now: Jesus Christ is the one mediator between any man and God for salvation. And likewise for any believer, Jesus Christ alone and not any man, is the only mediator between that saint and God, for their ongoing relationship. This false teaching is a new trend currently in certain Reformed Evangelical circles. I’ll be honest about the Roman “Baptist” Church, will you?

  1. This man, on this video from the popular I’ll Be Honest video ministry, is also wrong.

This is a case of, “The Church is the mediator” between God and men. False.

His teaching is disturbing and unbiblical. His words speak “threats” to any saint who has left a “local (institutional) Church” fellowship for biblical reasons. He implies there is no salvation for those outside the local institutional Church. This is a Roman Catholic doctrine. Now preached in Reformed Evangelicalism. He assumes the “local Church” is, or is the only, true biblical fellowship. He threatens God’s judgment on any saint who has left a Church. But many believers have had to come out of apostate Churches. The spirit of Roman Catholic bondage permeates this man’s teachings.
The message oozes the desire to exert top-down control over the people of God, which is a thing God hates. God does not want you conquered by the Nicolatians. He teaches you can’t know you are saved unless you are a member of a local Church, but the truth is, it is God inside a person, the Holy Spirit that makes a person know, along with the fruit of the Spirit. He teaches if you are attending Church you are walking in the Light, but we are walking in the Light if we are abiding in Christ and following HIM. He teaches we have to submit ourselves to a pastor to be saved when the Word of God says no such thing. We have to be in Christ by faith to be saved. He says it is likely those who have left are lost but the truth is many people in the Churches are lost and are there for tradition and social reasons only. He tries to scare you into submission by speaking of “go to Church or go to hell”.. well this is a most Roman Catholic false teaching for such a Reformed Baptist Church! He wants you to submit to his false Roman teaching week after week. No.

I would run for my life from this Church.

    • James, yes it is alive and well in the “last” corner of Christendom to be infiltrated in these last days: Reformed-Baptist Evangelicalism. The leaven has permeated and leavened the whole lump.

  2. Beloved Loretta,
I read one of your aticle’s that says, a minister was preaching in the radio, in his false preaching, that pastor is the Medetor between the people and God, instead of Jesus Christ. it is not right for such a preacher to decieve the hears, for he is making himselves equal with Jesus Christ

  3. hello Ugoh Mercy, yes that is indeed a false teaching. Jesus Christ is the one mediator between God and men. Not a separate false “priest class” calling itself “pastor”. Another thing the Word teaches us is that we– ALL who are in Christ, God’s people, are also priests unto God. That means, in Christ (Christ in us) we ourselves go straight in to the presence, the throne, of God, as a priest, which we are unto God. Isn’t that wonderful?

And has made us kings and priests to God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Rev.1:6

And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Rev.5:10

And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. Ex.19:6

    praise the Lord.

  4. Gen ch 11 describes this liar in the video. Let (us) build (us) a tower lest (we) be scattered. They are scared to death to have an intimite walk with Jesus and be scattered.

This snake is described in Rev. 13, as the 2nd beast of revealtion (the church)
He has two horns (double-minded) and appears to be a lamb, but he speakes like a dragon. He speakes the name Jesus on behalf of a walk with the world. I’m sorry this is a double-minded man. He fits the mold of Matther 7-15.

This man is so full of the pride of life that he has been turned over to a rebrobate mind.

Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them. Jeremiah 6:28 They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanders: they are brass and iron; they are all corrupters.29 The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the fire; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away.

30 Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them.

verse 28 are the two factions of evil; the tares (the brass are the serpents, and the iron are the scorpions) both are grievous revolters.

Silver that was unable to be refined was considered worthless, this is what reprobate is, it means to be to be rejected of God. The two parts that could not be refined as fine silver and reflect the light of God in Zech 13-8.. Because of Israel’s refusal to get right with God, they are compared to reprobate silver because God had rejected them.

The refined good silver is the 3rd part that is led through the fire, these are the ones who will reflect the light of God in Zechariah 13-9.

The rebrobate silver can not reflect any light because they are covered with dross.

He dosent understand that it is the church of Jesus Christ , but instead this man thinks it is HIS CHURCH. (this makes for a huge identity crises)

This reprobate can also be found in Matthew ch 23, as this man seeks to enlarge the borders of his garments, and receive praises in the halls of the board of directors. This was king Saul’s demise as well. (Saul wanted the approval of men, and God was finished with him) They seek to exhault themselves.

Matthew 23 4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,

6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Now this is what happens as they not only not enter the kingdom themselves but they block other from entering, as he devowers widows houses. They clean the outside of the platter, but the inside is filthy and full of dead men’s bones (Davy’s locker)

Read the whole chapter Matthew 23 it tells all about the Christian Pharasees of today.

The bible says to mark them and AVOID THEM.

    Bill
