And He said to her, “Your sins have been forgiven.” Luke7:48.
“Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him. Luke8:39.
“And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.” Luke12:4.
“And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not become anxious about how or what you should speak in your defense, or what you should say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” Luke12:11-12.
And He said to His disciples, “For this reason I say to you, do not be anxious for your life; as to what you shall eat; nor for your body, as to what you shall put on.” Luke12:22.
“Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.” Luke12:32.
“Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps alight.” Luke12:35.
“Blessed are those slaves whom the master shall find on the alert when he comes: truly I say to you, that he will gird himself to serve, and have them recline at table, and will come up and wait on them. Whether he comes in the second watch, or even in the third, and finds them so, blessed are those slaves.” Luke12:37-38.
“But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, delivering you to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for My name’s sake. It will lead to an opportunity for your testimony. So make up your minds not to prepare beforehand to defend yourselves; for I will give you utterance and wisdom which none of your opponents will be able to resist or refute. But you will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death, and you will be hated by all on account of My name. Yet not a hair of your head will perish. By your endurance you will gain your lives (souls)”. Luke21:12-19.
“Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded (permission) to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.” Luke22:31-32.
“But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.” And they all said, “Are you the Son of God, then?” And He said to them, “Yes, I am.” Luke22:69-70.
And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come into your kingdom!” And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” Luke23:42-43.
Then He opened their minds to understand the scriptures, and He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and rise from the dead the third day; and that repentance for forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And behold, I am sending forth the the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” Luke24:45-49.
