Verses of Encouragement:Matthew

“But when they deliver you up, do not become anxious about how or what you will speak; for it shall be given you in that hour what you are to speak. For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.” Matt.10:19-20.

“And do not fear those who kill the body, but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell.” Matt.10:28.

But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.” Matt.14:27.

“But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken, and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.” Matt.24:29-31.

“…for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” Matt.26:28-29.

And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me, yet not as I will, but as Thou wilt.” Matt.26:39.

“…All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” Matt. 28:18.

“… I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matt.28:20.

  1. If I could remember to be open and allow God to speak through my writing. When he inspires me it is so much better than anything I can produce.

  2. hello syinly, God speaks through His Word, and we also commune with Him in prayer. It is His Holy Spirit that guides, and if it is really Him, what we get from Him will be backed up by (based on) His Word, and will not contradict. Without His Holy Spirit, we can “produce” nothing of eternal spiritual value. “for apart from Me you can do (produce) nothing”. John 15:5.
