How thankful I am to have been able to spend more time with my beloved friend during her furlough from Albania. She discipled me when I was 19 and 20, and I can’t even describe how much she means to me, and how the Lord used her in my life. The Lord now has different plans for our lives, on two different continents. Over huge lattes we talked motherhood, ministry, walking with the Lord, trials, blessings, personal stuff. How thankful I am that the Lord has given us all to each other for love, encouragement and companionship as we serve and walk with our dear Savior.
Through the challenges, trials, or heartaches (and tears), we can always rejoice and be glad. We have absolutely everything in Christ. Here is a song I recently learned and sang. I love it, and I hope it blesses you.
There is a River
by: Jessie Rogers
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of our God (repeat)
(chorus) so I will rejoice
I will rejoice
and be glad
There is a fountain full of grace and it flows from Emmanuel’s veins
It came and it healed me
It came and refreshed me
It came and washed my sins away!
