In the last 24 hours, the Lord has blessed me with three dear sisters in Christ for mutual edification. At fellowship on Sunday, later on the phone and today at a cafe, the sweet fellowship with my sisters is a gift from God who provides all we need. One conversation was encouragement in our sanctification through pain and trials, one was regarding discerning false teaching and being faithful to the true gospel, and another was ideas and encouragement for evangelism and also persevering and living for Christ in these interesting times in which we live, as we watch what is happening in the world, and in the visible church; as we see so many signs and scriptures fulfilling before our very eyes.
Our Lord is so good and loving to us, providing not only the promise that He Himself will never leave us or forsake us; that He will be with us always, and giving us the Holy Spirit to guide and comfort us, but also the sweet fellowship of our brothers and sisters in Christ. We journey, pray, work and serve together in the bond of unity of our faith and salvation in the Lord Jesus.
and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near. Heb.10:24-25.
