that I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death…Phil.3:10-11.
but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing; so that also at the revelation of His glory, you may rejoice with exultation. 1 Pe.4:13.
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him in order that we may also be glorified with Him. Rom.8:17.
For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps…1Pe.2:21.
And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. 1Pe.5:10.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Rom.8:18.
Can physical suffering be included in Christ’s sufferings if we choose not to go to a doctor but wait for His divine healing like He promised in His word?
