Love

“And you shall love (ἀγαπήσεις) the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” Mark12:30.

“Why do you yourselves transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition?”Matt15:3

Traditions of men: the pagan “Christian” holidays. Why are they part of Christianity? Because the religion of Christianity was created with ancient Babylonian and ancient Roman paganism and the Roman Catholic(Universal) false occultic religion. Why do Christians cling to these traditions? Because they love them so. To this, Jesus asks, “Why do you yourselves transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition?”Matt15:3 The answer to this is about love. It is about what or who we love more. Jesus said, “And you shall love (ἀγαπήσεις) the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” Mark12:30.

What? Forsake the pagan traditions in Christianity? No way, Christians will not have that. Pagan/satanic cultural traditions must be kept to
please the people. It all comes down to what we really love with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. But the way of following Jesus is about loving God, not loving the world, the flesh and the devil. And following Jesus is about an altogether different kind of love.

  1. More love to Thee, O Christ, more love to Thee!
    Hear Thou the prayer I make on bended knee.
    This is my earnest plea: More love, O Christ, to Thee;
    More love to Thee, more love to Thee!

    Once earthly joy I craved, sought peace and rest;
    Now Thee alone I seek, give what is best.
    This all my prayer shall be: More love, O Christ to Thee;
    More love to Thee, more love to Thee!

    Let sorrow do its work, come grief or pain;
    Sweet are Thy messengers, sweet their refrain,
    When they can sing with me: More love, O Christ, to Thee;
    More love to Thee, more love to Thee!

    Then shall my latest breath whisper Thy praise;
    This be the parting cry my heart shall raise;
    This still its prayer shall be: More love, O Christ to Thee;
    More love to Thee, more love to Thee!

  2. 14Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?

    16Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said,
    “I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM;
    AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.

    17“Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE,” says the Lord.
    “AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN;
    And I will welcome you.

    18“And I will be a father to you,
    And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,”
    Says the Lord Almighty.

  3. John 13:35 By this the world will know you are my disciples, IF you love one another.
    I spoke about this in my local “church” and how instead people know us by something else. The lack of discipleship is so strong amongst a lot of “church” people. I think about the women caught in adultery and how Jesus did not condemn her but gave her TRUTH, (he did not have to put on a show or have a drum set behind ever word he said), after she was nearly stoned, I imagined she could have felt at her lowest point and embarrassed, she might have not even had many clothes only but a single cloth ( being she was caught in the act) (I am painting a picture In my mind). The point I am trying to make is that the Love of God covers a multitude of sin. When TRUTH is told in the manner that Christ shared it, a Holy change will begin, hearts will be convicted and they will sin no more. We must put on Christ, put on holiness, not make a show out of the gospel. I know I might have went off subject but I am really seeking God on how I can show people TRUE LOVE , not just a love that hides behind a pulpit. God bless, and say a prayer for me. P.s. my prayer tonight is for the true CHURCH, to stand and take there place in the world instead of the counterfeit church who teach doctrines of men and worship men. By the way this is beautiful I am happy to be apart of this.

    • hello Rickey, beautifully said. I’m right where you are at also on what you are seeking God on…. and my prayer is the same as well. I am also happy to, (with you), be a part of what God is doing.

  4. Amen! True believers do not need pagan holidays to celebrate the risen Savior and LORD Jesus Christ – they do that “daily” as He prescribed (Luke 9:23-24)

    WHO needs “easter”, “christmas”, “advent”, etc (ancient pagan festival to a false gods and goddess) to worship the King of all kings who died and rose again for our justification? Only those which are deceived and an enemy of the cross. Good Friday? Huhhhh? Those who truly know the LORD have firstly repented – turned their lives over to Him completely. Then, they worship Jesus “daily” in spirit and in truth (Luke 9:23-24; John 4:23-24). The true justified believer doesn’t need a so-called special holiday to give God lip service by giving Him a token day of supposed “worship.” That is for the heathen who wish to temporarily soothe their conscience for a day. But Jesus says “Ye must be born again.” (John 3:3, 7)

    For instance, was “good friday” foretold in the Bible? Yes. “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and COMMANDING TO ABSTAIN FROM MEATS, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.” 1 Tim 4:1-3 etc, etc, etc

  5. Monday: The Moon. (‘Moon-day’)
    Tuesday: Tew Tiw is the Old English form of the Proto-Germanic god
    Wednesday: Woden German war god
    Thursday: Thor the Gaulish god of thunder
    Saturday: Saturn god. (‘Saturn-day’)
    Sunday: The Sun god. (‘Sun-day’)

    Friday was named after the goddess Frigga in Norse paganism, Germanic goddess linked to Venus
    Friday is connected with the planet Venus. It is also connected with the Astrological signs Libra and Taurus.

    Fish on Friday is Venus sex worship, adopted by the RCC A single cod can spawn 9,000,000 eggs in a year! Eating fish on Friday is an act of adoration to Venus and her cohorts, and it celebrates the magic of fertility and reproduction.

    All the planets are named after pagon gods except earth.

    apollo project, gemini project, Houston the eagle has landed,… dah, no one gets it, especially christians. everything of this world is of satan…… If the world approves and defends it , it can’t be of God. Open and shut case. Air tight.

  6. greetings Ricky, and thanks for breaking bread and sharing your understandings, very helpful,

    I would like to continue on a little with the women who was caught in the act. The main point I see is this was describing their hypocrisy and respecter of persons. I doubt they would have had a real lawful case against her under the laws of Moses, they did not have any evidence with out the man. JMO….. They were being respecter of person by not accusing the man as well.

    What ever Jesus was writing on the ground with “HIS finger” must have been very dynamic, It was God who wrote the 10 commandments on the tablets of stone with “HIS finger”… Also HE told the women to “go and sin no more”..would Jesus tell her to do something if it were not possible?

    As always Loretta thanks for your labours in the field

    Love all of you

    Bill

  7. Bill – excellent in scribing the days above “…..no one gets it, especially christians. everything of this world is of satan…… If the world approves and defends it , it can’t be of God. Open and shut case. Air tight.” Beautiful brother! No one sees why the RCC named the “Lord’s Day” as they call it to “Sun-day”.

    Thanks again to all
